2009 POLICE UNITY TOUR

And a Special Trip to Honor
Officer Gene Miglio

Each year, police officers from around the nation cycle hundreds of miles from their hometown areas to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. to honor the nation's fallen officers.

On Sunday, May 10, 2009, six officers from our area diverted from the main course through Cape May County to ride to our island to visit the memorial dedicated to Wildwood Crest Officer Eugene Miglio.

The six officers, from North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and Cape May City were led by Wildwood Crest Sgt. William Kita to the site of the memorial at Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest.
